[Remote] Senior Technical Project Manager

The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cloud, data, and application modernization initiatives, ensuring successful project delivery and coordination between Government stakeholders and technical teams.ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex IT modernization, cloud transformation, and data platform initiativesManage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverablesCoordinate activities across cloud engineering, data engineering, application development, testing, security, and operations teamsServe as the primary interface between Government stakeholders and contractor personnelFacilitate project status meetings, technical reviews, risk assessments, and executive briefingsMonitor project performance and provide timely reporting on progress, risks, mitigation plans, and key performance indicatorsSupport Agile project management practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, release planning, and continuous improvement activitiesEnsure compliance with IRS, Federal, and organizational standards, policies, and proceduresDrive issue resolution and decision-making to maintain project schedules and delivery commitmentsEnsure technical quality and successful execution of project deliverablesManage multiple complex and interrelated technical initiatives simultaneouslySkillsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum twelve (12) years of experience managing complex information technology projectsDemonstrated experience leading cloud, data, application development, or modernization initiatives in enterprise environmentsExperience managing cross-functional technical teams supporting cloud and data platformsExperience coordinating project activities with executive leadership, technical stakeholders, and Government customersExperience managing Agile software development projects and cloud-based delivery modelsWorking knowledge of AWS cloud services, cloud-native architectures, and cloud migration strategiesExperience managing projects involving data engineering, analytics, modern data platforms, and data warehouse solutionsUnderstanding of enterprise application development, system integration, testing, deployment, and operational support processesExperience managing cloud modernization, application modernization, and digital transformation initiativesStrong project planning, budgeting, scheduling, reporting, stakeholder management, and risk management skillsOne of the following certifications is required: Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder12+ years of technical project management experience supporting enterprise IT initiativesExperience supporting Federal Government agenciesCompany OverviewCloud7Works is an SBA 8(a)–certified small business that helps federal agencies modernize mission-critical systems through secure cloud, data, AI, and enterprise architecture solutions.
