[Remote] Senior Tax Advisor

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Platform Accounting Group is a rapidly growing professional services firm providing tax, accounting, assurance, IT consulting, and wealth management services to small and medium sized businesses. The Senior Tax Advisor will prepare complex tax returns, build client relationships, advise on tax and finance issues, and resolve complex tax problems while supporting the manager on various projects.

Responsibilities
• Prepare complex individual, business (c-corp, s-corp, partnerships), exempt & fiduciary tax returns
• Build, maintain and enhance client relationships
• Advise clients on issues related to tax, finance & business practices
• Identify, research, and resolve complex tax issues
• Support manager with various ad-hoc projects

Skills
• 3+ years of experience preparing a variety of tax returns
• Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies relating to tax, accounting, and finance
• Bachelor's Degree Required
• EA or CPA required (or actively working towards licensure)
• Master's Degree Preferred
