[Remote] Senior Tax Accountant

The role involves managing tax planning, compliance, and reporting for the fund and its portfolio companies, ensuring adherence to all applicable tax laws and regulations.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for the fund and its portfolio companiesEnsure timely and accurate filing of all tax documentsManage tax provisions and related disclosures in financial statementsOversee the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual tax estimatesDevelop and implement tax-efficient structures for the fund and its investmentsProvide strategic tax advice on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and restructuringsIdentify opportunities for tax savings and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilitiesCoordinate and manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authoritiesPrepare responses to tax notices and liaise with external tax advisors and auditorsEnsure compliance with tax regulations and mitigate risks associated with non-complianceProvide tax support and guidance to portfolio companiesReview and analyze the tax implications of transactions involving portfolio companiesAssist portfolio companies in tax planning and compliance mattersConduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendationsStay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the fundAnalyze the tax impact of new investment opportunities and business initiativesSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably within the private equity industryStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesProficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsMaster's degree or CPACPA certificationAdditional tax-related certifications are a plusBenefitsCompetitive salary and bonus structure.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement plan with employer matching.Generous paid time off and holidays.Professional development opportunities.Company Overview3 Bridge Networks is a staffing company for accounting and finance professionals.
