Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bowman Consulting is seeking a Senior Survey Project Manager to join their team remotely. The role involves applying administrative, technical, and managerial techniques to ensure successful project completion while overseeing surveying activities and managing client relationships.ResponsibilitiesReceive broad guidance from senior-level management relating to overall key objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters and general parameters for execution. Oversee managing people and processes to ensure effective execution. Review work produced by staff for quality assuranceAssist with the marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships with existing clientsCoordinate with other internal departments to meet project requirementsKeep informed of new methods and developments affecting the organization and recommend new practices or change emphasis of programsRepresent the organization and maintain liaison with individuals and related organizationsManage competing demands and establish priorities for staffMeet with prospective clients, prepare proposals, and establish budgets and schedulesMaintain close liaison with clients to resolve all project questions, such as, but not limited to, technical requirements, completion requirements and billing inquiriesOversee all surveying activities, including review of all project changes, pending or anticipated alterations to the contract, additional work requests, and all other factors, which may significantly affect staffing requirements or budgetSupervise work of all survey personnel to ensure that it meets the highest professional standardsCoordinate with other internal departments to meet project requirementsDefine the scope of multiple, complex projects and develop plan to accomplish land survey projects. Monitor progress toward deliverable schedulesCompile project status reportsReview job cost sheets/prepare monthly billings. Ensure assigned projects stay within budget allocationCollect outstanding monies due from assigned clientsParticipate in and formulate marketing presentations and attend marketing meetingsSecure repeat business from existing clients and identifying new clientsSupervise the work of Project Managers when neededSkillsBachelor's degree in land surveying or related field preferredProfessional Land Surveying registrationTen or more (10+) years of land surveying or related land development experience to include a minimum of two (2) years of project management experienceKnowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Carlson principlesAbility to manage multiple projects and project teamsThorough understanding of financial principles in a consulting business.
