Advocate Aurora Health is the third-largest nonprofit, integrated health system in the United States, seeking a forward-thinking Senior Supply Chain Analyst to enhance their enterprise analytics capabilities. The role involves collecting and analyzing healthcare supply chain data, creating reports and dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve reporting tools and insights.ResponsibilitiesCollect and analyze data from various healthcare supply chain sources, including data from the Enterprise Resource Planning and Electronic Health Record systemsCreate and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and supply chain metricsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key reporting needs and gaps. Build and iterate on all reporting tools, including ERP-delivered reporting, third-party solutions, and internally developed tools in visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BIAdvocate for the proper use and interpretation of findings in our reporting toolsMeet with end users to continue to refine use cases and iterate on the usefulness of reporting toolsMaintain data security and privacy standards in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practicesEffectively manage projects relating to the development of data sources and reporting toolsTrack project work and report out progress to managers on development effortsAble to meet individually with stakeholders, gather requirements, document development efforts, and ultimately deliver a scalable, accurate analytics tool to meet the business needs with little to no guidance from management. Able to identify analytics and information gaps in the organization. Develops proofs of concept with little guidance, using existing data and knowledge of available tools. Able to present concepts to management for approval and ultimately leads testing efforts and deployment to production without guidance. Constantly adding meaningful capabilities to our analytics portfolio using existing data and novel applications of that data, primarily using Power BI. Creative developer of novel calculations and visualizations to better understand and manage the supply chainDemonstrates significant capabilities in SQL, Power Query/BI, and Excel. Examples include the ability to write SQL against data warehouses, develop complex Power Query/BI logic and calculations using DAX and M code, and occasionally using VBA to automate processes in Excel. Able to apply these concepts to solve business problems without guidance by management or other resources.
