[Remote] Senior Subcontract Administrator

They are seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to lead subcontracting activities, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and managing subcontractor relationships to support successful program execution.ResponsibilitiesLead the administration and management of subcontract agreements from proposal support through contract closeoutDraft, negotiate, review, and administer subcontract agreements, modifications, amendments, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and other contractual instrumentsEnsure subcontract activities comply with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), customer requirements, and internal company policiesAnalyze prime contract requirements and implement appropriate flow-down clauses and contractual obligations to subcontractorsConduct subcontractor solicitations, evaluations, negotiations, and source selection activities in accordance with approved procurement proceduresReview subcontractor proposals and perform cost and price analyses to support procurement decisionsDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and strategic partnersMonitor subcontractor performance, schedules, deliverables, and compliance with contractual obligationsPartner with Program Managers, Engineering, Contracts, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support successful program executionIdentify contractual and procurement-related risks and recommend mitigation strategiesCoordinate subcontract modifications, change management activities, and issue resolution effortsSupport proposal development activities by reviewing subcontractor inputs, pricing, and contractual requirementsMaintain complete and accurate subcontract files and procurement documentationSupport internal audits, customer reviews, and government audits as requiredAssist in the development and continuous improvement of subcontract administration policies, procedures, and best practicesProvide guidance and mentorship to junior procurement and subcontract administration personnel when appropriateSkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contracts Management, Finance, Law, or a related fieldMinimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in subcontract administration, procurement, contracts management, or government contractingDemonstrated experience supporting U.S. Government, Department of Defense (DoD), aerospace, or defense-related programsStrong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government procurement regulationsExperience negotiating complex subcontract agreements and contractual terms and conditionsProven ability to interpret contractual requirements and implement effective subcontract management strategiesExperience performing cost and price analysis and evaluating subcontractor proposalsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExperience utilizing ERP, procurement, and contract management systemsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teamsU.S. CitizenshipMaster's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contracts Management, or a related disciplineNCMA certification such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or equivalentExperience supporting Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), aerospace, defense technology, or advanced manufacturing programsKnowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TINA), and Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirementsActive U.S. Department of Defense security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain oneBenefitsCompetitive total compensation packageComprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more.401k with company-match4 weeks of paid time off each year12 annual company holidaysCompany OverviewZone 5 Technologies is an aviation component manufacturing company that develops and tests unmanned aircraft systems.
