[Remote] Senior Structural Engineer, Data Centers - Remote (U.S.)

They are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with expertise in data center facility design to lead structural design and analysis for various data center projects.ResponsibilitiesLead and perform structural design and analysis for multiple data center buildings, including hyperscale and colocation type facilitiesDevelop design documentation for tilt-up concrete panels, precast structures, steel framing systems, and deep and shallow foundationsCoordinate design deliverables with architectural, civil, MEP, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and client standardsOversee preparation of construction documents, specifications, and calculations, ensuring quality, code compliance, and technical excellenceProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designersEngage with clients, contractors, and review authorities to address technical queries and design clarificationsSupport business development, proposal writing, and conceptual structural design for new pursuitsTravel, as needed, for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visitsSkillsBachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in building structures design and analysis or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education in Structural or Civil EngineeringLicensed U.S. Professional Engineer (PE or SE)Experience specifically in data center, mission critical, or large scale logistics/industrial facilitiesExperience with BIM ACC (Revit), ETABS, RISA, RAM, SAP2000, Safe, etcExperience with precast concrete systems, steel design, seismic design, and foundation systemsDemonstrated experience with low embodied carbon materials and sustainable structural design approaches3+ years of experience with data center facilities and familiarity of data center specific design standards and structural resiliency requirementsLEED, Envision, or active leader in SE 2050 implementationExpertise in low embodied carbon materials, sustainable structural systems, and emerging industry best practicesExcellent communication, coordination, and leadership skillsAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and geographically diverse teamsAbility to interpret and apply national and local building codesBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionLifeAD&DDisability benefitsPaid time offLeaves of absencesVoluntary benefitsPerksFlexible work optionsWell-being resourcesEmployee assistance programBusiness travel insuranceService recognition awardsRetirement savings planEmployee stock purchase planCompany OverviewAECOM is the global infrastructure leader, committed to delivering a better world.
