They are seeking a Senior Strategic Account Manager to drive new business for the Aerospace & Defense sector, focusing on strategic relationships and capturing high-value growth opportunities.ResponsibilitiesPrimary point of contact for all assigned Strategic/Emerging Account capture activitiesEstablish and maintain strategic relationships with all critical/strategic programs across various BU’sProactively engage with program managers, engineers, and technical staff to understand mission requirements, technology roadmaps, and emerging capability gaps 18-48 months before formal solicitationsDevelop strong pipeline of Strategic/Emerging Account opportunities aligned with sector strategy, and document all opportunities in CRM with detailed intelligence on stakeholders, requirements, competition, and win strategiesManage all critical opportunities through complete capture lifecycle: qualification → shaping → capture → proposal → award, with emphasis on early engagement and requirements influenceLead capture efforts for Strategic/Emerging Account opportunities, developing and executing winning strategies that maximize content across multiple systems and platformsWork with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Pricing Teams to architect solutions that meet/exceed Customer specifications while delivering competitive advantage in price/performance to ensure successful capture and execution of opportunitiesServe as the voice of the customer for all assigned Strategic/Emerging Accounts internally, translating mission needs and priorities into actionable business strategies and investment decisionsDevelop and maintain relationships with Customer program management and engineering staff to identify opportunities to partner on new technologies or programs, ensuring early engagement, effective positioning to win, and maximum value realizationEngage assigned Strategic/Emerging customers proactively to shape requirements before RFP release; influence specifications to align with company capabilities through white papers, technical discussions, and industry day participationApply structured capture methodologies (Phase Gate) to ensure disciplined pursuit decisions and optimal resource allocationCoordinate closely with Director – Strategic Accounts – A&D and Business Development Team to ensure concurrent understanding of key Strategic/Emerging Account activity, competitive landscape, and price to winSkillsBachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 10 years of applicable industry experience and business development experienceA&D industry experience requiredDemonstrated success working in complex, matrixed organizational structuresDemonstrated ability to influence requirements and acquisition strategies through strategic engagement and technical credibilityDeep experience and relationships in the A&D electronics ecosystem with focus on Prime's requirementsDemonstrated ability to build, develop and maintain relationships with leading A&D customersStrong understanding of PCB/Microelectronics industry, RF/MW products, Mission Systems, and design-to-specification solution selling within the context of Prime applicationsAbility to rapidly gain a strong understanding of TTM's existing products/capabilities & our competitorsDemonstrated ability to identify and assess new business opportunities and develop effective capture strategies with proven successDemonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with executive leadershipEffective team leader with ability to collaborate across organizational and functional boundariesStrong understanding of content management systems and tools supporting capture and proposal developmentClear and established track record of new business wins, including recent and relevant awards greater than $20MMBA is preferredA&D industry experience preferredSecurity clearance is preferredBenefitsMedicalDentalVision401KFlexible Spending AccountHealth Savings AccountAccident benefitsLife insuranceDisability benefitsPaid vacation & holidaysBenefits are available 1st of the month following date of hireCompany OverviewAt TTM we are inspiring innovation in everything we do.
