[Remote] Senior Strategic Account Executive

Cohesity is a leader in AI-powered data security and management, seeking a high-performing Senior Strategic Account Executive to own and grow a named enterprise territory. The role involves driving new logo acquisition, expanding enterprise accounts, and building a robust pipeline of complex transactions while engaging C-level decision makers.ResponsibilitiesOwn a defined enterprise territory and deliver against an annual quota through a balanced focus on new logo acquisition and account expansionBuild, manage, and execute a robust pipeline of complex enterprise transactions from prospecting through closePenetrate large enterprise organisations, engage C-level and VP-level decision makers, and run structured, value-based sales cyclesDevelop compelling business cases that connect Cohesityâs AI-powered data security platform to customer outcomes across security, resilience, compliance, and cost optimisationPartner closely with sales engineers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to execute coordinated account strategiesMaintain accurate forecasting, territory plans, and pipeline hygiene within SalesforceLeverage AI and productivity tools to streamline workflows, improve deal quality, and support data-driven decision makingSkillsDemonstrated experience selling into and partnering with Information Security / Cybersecurity teams, with a strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks, compliance standards, and the ability to align solutions to customer security and risk requirementsExtensive success in a quotaâcarrying, customerâfacing enterprise sales role selling complex technology solutionsDemonstrated experience selling into enterprise accounts with multiple stakeholders and complex sales cyclesKnowledge of data security architectures, ransomware resilience, and the competitive landscapeStrong track record of negotiating and closing highâvalue enterprise contractsExecutiveâlevel communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical and business valueExperience working with channel partners and crossâfunctional deal teamsWillingness to travel as required within the assigned territoryBachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experienceProfessional English language proficiency for customer and internal communicationExperience with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles) strongly preferredExpertise with NetBackup, Backup Exec, and InfoScale, including immutable storage, hardened media servers, ACLâbased controls, and encryptionBenefitsThis position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants.Full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.Company OverviewCohesity is a data management technology firm that offers hyper-converged secondary storage solutions for backups, files, and analytics.
