[Remote] Senior Staff Accountant

They are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to assist with accounting functions, tax compliance, financial analysis, and operational control, while collaborating with the Accounting Manager on various projects and audits.ResponsibilitiesMonthly recurring entries and intercompany allocationsFixed assets transactions (additions, depreciation, reconciliation, roll forward) as well as maintaining current inventoryMonthly excise, sales, and CAT taxesMonthly accruals and benefit allocationsPrepaid amortization and reconciliationBalance sheet account reconciliationsPotentially take on other entries/reporting as the role evolvesAssist with annual auditsT&E tracking for annual tax provisionMiscellaneous projects as neededCross Trained TasksAccounts Payable – checks, ACH, etcCommissionFinancial CloseSkillsMinimum of two to four years' experience in similar environment having a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
