[Remote] Senior SQL Database Developer

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL Server databases, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server databases and stored procedures. • Develop and maintain ETL packages using SSIS for data migration and transformation. • Generate reports using SSRS and provide data insights to business teams. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions. • Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for version control, CI/CD, and task management. • Use Microsoft Visual Studio (2015 2022) for development and integration tasks. • Create and manage system documentation using Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office tools. • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues. • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry best practices. Skills • 10+ years of experience with: Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL • 10+ years of experience with: ETL processes and tools, especially SSIS • 10+ years of experience with: Report development using SSRS • 10+ years of experience with: Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office Suite • 5+ years of experience with: Azure DevOps (ADO) for version control and project tracking • 5+ years of experience with: Microsoft Visual Studio (2015 2022) • Experience with cloud-based database systems (e.g., Azure SQL) • Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools • Strong understanding of database security, backups, and disaster recovery strategies • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Education Requirements • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) Company Overview • Welcome to Jobs via Dice, the go-to destination for discovering the tech jobs you want.
