[Remote] Senior Solutions Consultant (Public Sector)

The Solutions Consultant (Public Sector) will provide high-quality product demonstrations to prospective customers, mentor sales staff, and collaborate with various departments to enhance sales efficacy.ResponsibilitiesProvide the necessary tools and processes to accelerate deals, execute contracts, and improve sales team efficacyConnect with a variety of customers to help drive sales across all verticals including manufacturing, facilities management, government, and other maintenance and operational businessesTeam with sales to present MaintainX to prospective clients, using examples appropriate to their business and communication needsImport real customer data into trial accounts so the customer can interact with their own assets and engage with the platform in the most compelling wayBe the go-to product expert who can accurately respond to technical product questions from across the sales teamsStay informed on product updates (3x/week on average) and incorporate the latest functionality into demos, as neededBuild trust with customer stakeholders based on product and functional expertiseLearn to anticipate customer needs. Utilize your intuitive consulting and selling skills to engage with customer pain points and present possible Sales with MaintainXCollaborate with a Solutions Architect to develop customer-specific integrations, between MaintainX and 3rd party software, as neededAs a member of a cross-departmental sales team, work with marketing, product management, engineering, implementation, and customer support to find solutions for prospective customersDevelop and launch new sales assets and collateralKeep existing sales assets and collateral up-to-dateMentor sales staff by reinforcing product knowledge and messaging/positioning from our product marketing managers, during collaborationsCollect marketing and product feedback from day-to-day customer interactions, and provide feedback to the product marketing teamSkills7+ years of related experience, such as sales, implementation, solutions building, or engineeringUnderstanding and experience with Public Sector compliance, IT policies, and deployment modelsExperienced in working with Systems integrator teams for implementation and deployment planning and scopingExperience working with Enterprise and Public Sector Cybersecurity and compliance teams for compliance documentation, ATO conversations, and navigating cybersecurity policiesOutstanding verbal and written communication abilityInterpersonal and listening skillsInsanely detail-oriented and organizedEffective problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to adjust communication style based on customers' personalities and based on stakeholders' objectivesAbility to present effectively and command attention with a variety of stakeholder perspectivesPersonality traits: empathic, positive, passionate, creative, smart, high integrity, startup mentalityBA degree or higherBackground in asset management is preferredPrior consulting and sales experience and analytical problem-solving skills is a plusExperience with modern sales tech stacks: Salesforce, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, etcExperience with startups and entrepreneurial organizationsExperience working with ERP, CMMS or facility operations softwareAbility to perform in a remote work settingBenefitsCompetitive salary and meaningful equity opportunities.Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) / RRSP enrolment program.Take what you need PTO.A Work Culture where:
