[Remote] Senior Software Engineering Manager- Anthem Integration

Honeywell Aerospace Technologies is a leader in aviation technology, and they are seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager for their Anthem Integration project. This role involves overseeing the coordination across engineering teams, managing the product lifecycle, and leading the development of advanced software solutions for the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for coordination across engineering IPTs systems, software, and hardwareResponsible for all phases of product and platform lifecycle (design, development, integration, test, certification, production, in service)Responsible for leading the team which manages and executes the Core Anthem continuous build environment for SW builds (Pre Release, Release, and ML deliveries for customers)Responsible for developing and maturing the Anthem build process which will support certification of the Core Anthem SW part numberingsResponsible for leading the team which builds and maintains Anthem Labs (micro SITS, mini SITS, and SITS environments), including introduction of Honeywell Aerospace peripherals required to validate Core Anthem features (radio, transponder, TCAS, etc)Responsible for coordination of simulations required to support closed loop testing of Core Anthem features in the Anthem lab environmentSkillsBachelors of Science Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 years management experience15 plus years Aerospace Industry experienceDue to U.S. export control laws, candidates must be U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status under asylum or refugeeExperience in the aircraft environmentExperience with aircraft electronic systems software and hardwareKnowledge of software development methods and practicesAbility to lead and influence both directly and in a matrix environmentAbility to Communicate up, down, and across within an organization and across organizational boundariesStrong Business AcumenProvide strategic direction for software engineering activities, aligning them with the company's goals and objectivesDrive innovation and guide the development of advanced software solutionsLead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellenceRegularly evaluate and provide feedback to team membersIdentify and mitigate risks, and make data driven decisions to keep projects on trackChampion best practices in software engineering and developmentCollaborate with technical experts and thought leaders to drive technological advancementsPresent complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiencesCompany OverviewHoneywell International Inc.
