[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Platform

They are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team, where the role involves designing, building, and maintaining the systems and infrastructure necessary to support Omada’s mission.ResponsibilitiesYou will become a key part of the development and operation of Omada’s digital health program Architecture & InfrastructureYou will play a daily role building and scaling our platform one piece at a time, supporting our delivery of a personalized experience to program members, while empowering our health coaches to deliver effective interventionsYou will work closely (including pair programming) with the rest of the Platform team, collaborating frequently with internal customers from our product engineering teams, InfoSec, IT, and beyondYou will build cross-functional relationships with software engineers, data engineers, and technical program managers to understand their needs, and to deliver solutions to improve their working livesYou will manage highly available services in our EKS clusters and on standalone EC2 hosts, with a modern approach to designing for resiliency and cross-regional redundancyYou will work with engineers to design and improve developer tooling and capability, supporting use cases like secrets management, automations, cloud environments, and access managementYou will mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team membersYou will maintain and enhance our self-hosted Gitlab-based VCS and CI/CD infrastructureSkills5+ years of working experience designing and building diverse AWS cloud architecturesExperience building and operating a Kubernetes clusterExperience with Terraform and AnsibleExperience working with Datadog application performance monitoring, custom metrics, and logsExperience managing, configuring, and troubleshooting persistent virtual Linux hosts and volumesExperience building, deploying, and orchestrating Docker images and containersGreat communication skills – both written and verbal.
