[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build, run, and evolve systems, partner with various teams, and own features end-to-end while ensuring production health.ResponsibilitiesOwn features end-to-end: framing, design, construction, testing, deployment, and production operationsDevelop and enhance APIs, backend services, and internal platformsBuild and maintain integrations with third-party systemsCreate web applications and workflow tools that hold up in productionTroubleshoot complex issues across the full stack, especially those that span service boundariesAnticipate failure modes and design for clarity, testability, and reversibilityImprove our development infrastructure: CI/CD, environment management, and observabilityRaise the bar through code reviews, design input, and the standard your own work setsTranslate technical reality into language product and leadership can act onParticipate in on-call rotation and own production health for what you shipSkills5+ years of software development experience, owning ambiguous problems and shipping work that lastsStrong experience building production APIs and integrating with external systemsDeep expertise in at least one of C#, Go, or TypeScriptHave written and shipped production code in at least one additional language, ideally another from our stackWorking knowledge of React, or comparable modern frontend frameworkExperience with cloud services and modern cloud development practices (Azure preferred)Solid understanding of SQL databases and caching technologies (Redis preferred)You have a strong instinct for what not to build, and you make sound calls when priorities conflictYou take on problems outside your expertise, in code you did not writeYou take ownership of more than your code: the systems, docs, and standards around itOther engineers route their hard problems through youYou raise risk early, keep your manager informed, and admit when you do not knowEnthusiasm for leveraging AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologiesMust have permission to work in the US on a permanent basisYou work across backend and frontend, with meaningful production experience on both sidesExperience working in regulated industries such as healthcare or fintechExperience with GraphQLExperience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR)Experience with B2B SaaS platforms and customer management systemsAdvanced DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and observability toolingBenefitsFlexible time off, including 12 paid holidays401k match plus 100% employer paid medical, dental, and vision premiumsCompany contribution to Health Savings AccountStock optionsCompany OverviewPrescryptive is a healthcare technology company transforming the U.S. prescription drug market.
