They are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and implement digital solutions, leveraging advanced programming skills and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in healthcare technology.ResponsibilitiesDesigns and defines the technical architecture and infrastructure required for digital solutionsWrites code, develops software components, and implements complex functionalities according to project requirementsCollaborates with other members of the development team and stakeholders to make high-level architectural decisions, proposes design patterns, and ensures scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutionsLeverages advanced programming skills to design and implement complex features, optimize performance, and ensure code efficiencyIntegrates various software components or systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between different parts of the digital solutionWrites and executes comprehensive test cases, conducts code reviews, performs debugging, and troubleshoots issues to ensure the reliability, stability, and high quality of digital solutionsParticipates in agile or other development methodologies, attends meetings, contributes to project planning, and helps drive the progress and success of digital projectsExplores new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions and drive innovation within the development teamCreates and maintains technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, code documentation, and other relevant documentation while sharing their knowledge and expertise with team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and collaborationBe willing to travel at least 10% of the time to office, conferences, on-sites/off-sites, and other events as neededSkills5 years of relevant work experienceAdept at problem solving and decision making skillsAdept at collaboration and teamworkAdept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skillsAdept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skillsStrong software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, async programming patterns, object-oriented design, parallel programming)Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with at least one popular programming language (.NET , GoLang or Java) and SQL constructs (PostGres, Snowflake, MS SQL)Experience writing and maintaining frontend client applications, Angular preferredStrong experience with revision control (Git)Experience with cloud-based systems (Azure / AWS / GCP)High level understanding of big data design (data lake, data mesh, data warehouse) and data normalization patternsDemonstrated experience with Queuing technologies (Kafka / SNS / RabbitMQ etc)Demonstrated experience with Metrics, Logging, Monitoring and Alerting toolsStrong communication skillsStrong experience with use of RESTful APIs and AKKA messaging technologyHigh level understanding of system deployment tasks and technologies.
