What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering team members to envision, architect, plan, and deliver innovative features for SaaS offerings
- Analyze design requirements and determine project scope, effort, and timelines
- Develop new systems, tools, and services and address design issues and maintenance of existing ones
- Participate in all phases of software development and ensure product scalability and high-performance designs
- Share knowledge, mentor other engineers, and lead by example
- Minimize 'grey' areas among projects and team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in developing high-performance software
- 7+ years of experience in SaaS development (C/C++, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript)
- Expertise in relational/NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in software architecture, problem-solving, and debugging
- Experience with SCRUM and Agile methodologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native designs
- Strong database skills (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
- Front-end development experience (React, Angular, Bootstrap, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in Agile team collaboration
- Track record of technical influence and stakeholder management
