[Remote] Senior Software Asset Management Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. W3Global is seeking a Senior Software Asset Management Consultant to oversee the day-to-day operations of Software Asset Management. The role involves managing software discovery processes, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and collaborating with various business units to optimize software usage and costs. Responsibilities • Perform day-to-day operations of Software Asset Management using ServiceNow SAM Pro/ Flexera/Snow License Manager. • Monitor and manage software discovery, normalization, and reconciliation processes. • Maintain and update software license data, entitlements, and contracts in ServiceNow. • Analyze software usage data to identify optimization opportunities and reduce costs. • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with procurement, IT, and business units to manage software lifecycle. • Generate and distribute reports on software inventory, usage, and compliance. • Support audits by providing accurate and timely software asset data. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software asset data and ServiceNow SAM Pro functionality. • Assist in the configuration and enhancement of SAM Pro modules and workflows. • Stay updated on software licensing trends and ServiceNow SAM Pro capabilities. Skills • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro/ Flexera/ Snow License Manager and IT Asset Management (ITAM). • Strong understanding of software licensing models (e.g., SaaS, subscription, perpetual). • Familiarity with software publishers like Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, etc. • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - SAM Company Overview • W3Global is a leading provider of end-to-end consulting services, empowering businesses to achieve their strategic goals and optimize their operations.
