[Remote] Senior Social Media Associate

Indivisible Project is a progressive grassroots organization focused on building a democracy that reflects a broad, multiracial populace. They are seeking a Senior Social Media Associate to develop and execute content strategies for social media, manage day-to-day content production, and engage with the online community.ResponsibilitiesWork with Social Media Manager to develop and implement the social media strategy for Indivisible Project campaigns to create and produce powerful social media contentDevelop daily content that uplifts our issue advocacy and political partnershipsCreate and oversee weekly scheduling of base layer social media contentMonitor social media activity of Indivisible groups to amplify actions and local successesMonitor news and uplift relevant clips from television and online outletsAssist with production of video content as neededSupport the production of social content for organizational leadership accountsManage the organization’s YouTube accountWork with internal and external stakeholders to share our resources in compelling and creative waysAssist as needed with digital, writing, research, and organizational projects on discrete issue-related and electoral campaignsWork with other departments to develop memos on priority content areas that can be turned into social contentWork with social media manager to develop impact reports and weekly social reportsFocus on managing our online community with the goal of engaging with the majority of relevant messages receivedMonitor and track online activity across the Indivisible networkSkillsThree to four years of social media experience in a professional or volunteer capacity for a political campaign or non-profitCommitted to building a more equitable organization and progressive movementCompetency in social media scheduling and analytics platformsExperience crafting social media content in a professional or official volunteer capacity for a group or organizationExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, campaign-like environmentMotivation and willingness to learnAlignment on the core values and strategy of the Indivisible ProjectExperience with video production and editing (including on-camera work)Experience with graphic designProficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, and SlidesSpanish language skills are a plusBenefitsA generous benefits packageCompany OverviewOur mission is to resist Trump’s agenda by empowering local activist groups to make their Members of Congress listen.
