[Remote] Senior SEO Analyst

The Senior SEO Analyst will be responsible for owning organic search performance, conducting technical SEO audits, and driving scalable organic growth across the client base. This role requires deep technical SEO expertise and the ability to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesLead comprehensive technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and mobile performance; translating findings into prioritized, actionable remediation plansIndependently identify, prioritize, and drive resolution of technical issues across client sites, working with development and professional services teams to implement fixes and validating outcomes post-deploymentMonitor and maintain XML sitemaps, robots.txt configurations, canonical tags, hreflang, and redirect chainsAnalyze log files to understand bot crawl behavior and surface opportunities for crawl budget optimizationImplement and validate structured data (Schema.org) markup relevant to eCommerce and local business use casesPartner with the A/B testing and analytics team to measure the SEO impact of on-site changes and product releasesUtilize GA4, Google Search Console, and BI tools to track key organic KPIs and communicate performance to stakeholdersServe as the escalation point for SEO-related customer issues raised by frontline support teamsDiagnose client-specific SEO problems including traffic drops, ranking volatility, manual actions, and indexation issuesTranslate technical findings into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical customer teams and clientsDesign and own the internal documentation, playbooks, and diagnostic frameworks for SEO support scenarios; building institutional knowledge that scales beyond individual casesCreate SEO performance reports and analyses for delivery to operational and executive stakeholdersWork cross-functionally with product, UX, content, and engineering teams to incorporate SEO requirements into development workflowsTrack algorithm updates and industry changes, assess their impact on Tribute Tech clients, and translate findings into proactive roadmap recommendationsIdentify, define, and drive process improvement initiatives within the SEO workflow, raising the quality bar across technical execution and reportingMonitor the evolving impact of AI-generated search experiences (including Google AI Overviews and LLM-driven referral traffic) on organic visibility; assess implications for Tribute Tech clients and adapt strategy accordinglySkillsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with deep specialization in technical SEO and eCommerce environmentsDemonstrated track record of independently diagnosing and resolving complex technical SEO issues at scale, with measurable impact on organic performanceExpert-level proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4 and BigQuery; experience with GA360 is a plusHands-on experience with enterprise crawl tools such as Screaming FrogWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it relates to SEO rendering and crawlabilityFamiliarity with log file analysis tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, or similar) to evaluate bot behaviorExperience with rank tracking and keyword research platforms such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or MozProficiency with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Looker StudioSQL proficiency to query and segment organic performance data; experience with AWS Athena is a plusFamiliarity with Google Tag Manager for tracking implementation and SEO-related tag managementUnderstanding of Core Web Vitals, PageSpeed Insights, and web performance fundamentalsKnowledge of structured data formats (JSON-LD preferred) and Schema.org vocabularyFamiliarity with AI-assisted workflows and LLM-based tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) for tasks such as keyword clustering, content gap analysis, and Python/JS script generationStrong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, prioritized recommendationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adjust technical depth for different audiencesOperates with a high degree of autonomy and ownership; self-directed and proactive without requiring active supervisionCollaborative team player with experience working across product, engineering, and customer-facing functionsNatural curiosity, attention to detail, and a bias toward root-cause analysisAbility to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with JIRAEnglish proficiency (reading, writing, and verbal) is requiredBenefitsCompetitive salaryComprehensive benefits package (401k Match, Cigna for health, vision, dental, PTO, Paid Holidays, Corporate Equipment).Outstanding collaborative work environment.Company OverviewAt Tribute Technology, we help funeral professionals create meaningful, memorable experiences through innovative and thoughtful technology.
