[Remote] Senior Scrum Master - Mortgage / Technology

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MSH is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support and coach two high-performing Agile teams of engineers and product contributors. The role focuses on ensuring delivery of business value through effective facilitation of Scrum ceremonies and removal of impediments while promoting Agile principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
• Guide two Scrum teams running two week sprints in effective use of Scrum, ensuring ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) are purposeful and outcome-driven
• Coach team members, Product Owners, and leadership in Agile practices, reinforcing servant leadership and self-organization
• Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, and translating business needs into actionable increments
• Protect teams from external interruptions and remove impediments to ensure focus on sprint commitments
• Promote transparency through metrics (velocity, burn-down, cycle time) and communicate progress with stakeholders
• Partner with Engineering Leadership to align team delivery with organizational goals
• Foster an environment of learning, experimentation, and accountability
• Identify process bottlenecks and drive initiatives to improve flow, predictability, and quality
• Encourage cross-team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and sustainable pace

Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master with multiple concurrent teams
• Proven success guiding engineering teams (e.g., .NET/C# developers, QA, DevOps) in delivering complex software solutions
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe); hands-on experience tailoring practices to team needs
• Demonstratable knowledge and use of AI tools
• Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills
• Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Expert with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc. for backlog and sprint tracking
• Experience in cloud-based platforms (AWS, .NET Core, microservices)
• Experience in finance or mortgage is required
• Certifications such as CSM, PSM I/II, or SAFe Scrum Master strongly preferred
