[Remote] Senior Salesforce Product Manager

The Senior Salesforce Product Manager role will drive the continued development of Palmetto's Salesforce platform in alignment with business needs and objectives, owning product strategy, roadmap, and priorities for the Salesforce team.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand Palmetto’s business processes and organizational prioritiesProactively engage with stakeholders regularly to understand their evolving needsManages technical SFDC lead and delivery teamProactively builds reporting to support business operations, as well as track sprint delivery and progress of the SFDC delivery team(s)Develop, maintain, and communicate the Salesforce product’s vision and roadmapEstablish and track progress against evolving business initiatives for the Salesforce teamManage, prioritize, and refine User Stories for the Salesforce product backlogWork closely with peers in your department to ensure that your projects and initiatives align with the priorities of their related systems i.e. accounting and financial systemsLead Salesforce product roadmap and sprint planning meetings with the Salesforce development teamLead solutioning conversations and technologies for products that live within or touch the Salesforce systemFacilitate daily standups with the Salesforce development teamEngage with business stakeholders and end-users to resolve impediments to Product development as they ariseManage end-user testing, communications, release management, and roll-out plan for new Product feature releasesAlign with other Palmetto Product Owners when needed to maintain cross-product alignmentManage MANY priorities across the org and drive the strategic vision and implementation of Salesforce enhancements to support Palmetto’s growth and business needsVery strong technical foundational knowledge and understanding of the Salesforce platform and various clouds (Sales, Service, Field Service Lightning, etc.)Skills3+ years of experience at a technology company or consulting firm5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment and participating in Agile ceremoniesAbility to manage many competing priorities and complex projectsSalesforce certifications highly preferred (consultant, administrator, etc.)3+ years of experience working with middleware for Salesforce (BOOMI, Tray.IO, or other) along with DevOps tools (Gearset or other)Experience translating business needs into strong user stories/requirements for new product featuresTechnical aptitude and expertise in the Salesforce platform as well as other applications commonly integrated with SalesforceExcellent organizational and project management skills; can manage priorities and dependencies across teamsExcellent communication skills with experience translating technical concepts to non-technical audiencesStrong leadership skills rooted in high EQ, with an ability to rally cross-functional teams towards demanding goalsIs regarded as a subject matter expert in Salesforce; can set up working agreements with other teams on how to use, engage and request updates to their serviceHas strong alignment to the Palmetto mission of building the green energy future, and examples of working within Palmetto core values: Customer Mindfulness, Inclusion & Diversity, Rituals, Longevity, Happiness, OpennessBenefitsUnlimited PTOMedical, dental, and vision coveragePaid parental leaveRetirement plansCompany OverviewPalmetto accelerates the clean energy transition with software and financial services that make home electrification easy.
