[Remote] Senior Sales Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer who will act as a technical consultant and leader, working closely with various teams to ensure customer success and mentoring team members.ResponsibilitiesDeliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations aligned to customer use cases: insider threat detection, DLP, user behavior analytics (UBA), and workforce intelligenceLead technical discovery sessions to understand prospect environments, pain points, security stack, and compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR)Own and execute proof-of-value (POV) and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements — including environment setup, endpoint agent configuration, and success criteria alignmentAssist prospects with deployment planning across on-premise, cloud (SaaS), and private cloud architecturesConfigure APIs and troubleshoot complex deployment and integration issues during evaluationsPotential travel: 20%Partner with Account Executives throughout the full sales cycle as the primary technical resourceRelay market intelligence, feature gaps, and competitive insights to Product and Engineering teamsCoordinate with Customer Success on handoffs to ensure smooth post-sale onboardingBuild and contribute to reusable demo environments, battle cards, architecture diagrams, and technical collateralDocument deployment best practices and onboarding guides to promote consistency across the teamSkills3+ years in a Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solutions Consulting role within a B2B SaaS companyProven ability to support technical evaluations for mid-market to enterprise accountsHands-on proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, including command-line usage and server administrationWorking knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle) and SaaS deployment modelsFamiliarity with endpoint agents, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), Docker, and PostgreSQLAbility to configure APIs and troubleshoot complex deployment or integration issuesExposure to scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for basic automation tasksStrong written and verbal English (Spanish is a plus) communication skills; able to engage both technical and executive audiencesConsultative and value-driven approach to customer interactionsStrong organizational skills to manage multiple active evaluations and stakeholders simultaneouslyFamiliarity with diagramming tools such as Lucidchart or VisioExperience with HubSpot or a comparable CRMCybersecurity or DLP platform experience (Teramind, Proofpoint ITM, DTEX, Varonis, Forcepoint)BenefitsThis is a remote job.
