[Remote] Senior Sales Account Manager, Thermoset Composite Materials

Mitsubishi Chemical Carbon Fiber and Composites, Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Manager responsible for developing sustainable growth for their prepreg thermoset composite product lines. The role involves collaborating with customers and stakeholders to drive business growth and implement strategies that enhance sales revenue and profit margins.ResponsibilitiesHelp drive company goals by developing new, profitable and sustainable business growth for the product lineDevelop new project/customer pipeline that is maintained in SalesforceSupport cross-functional global teams to implement & develop new productsManage sales forecasting quarterly for assigned customersSupport market intelligence inquiries & initiativesMonthly & quarterly reporting on progress of key initiativesQuotes projects & negotiates pricing with customersSupport legal team to achieve customer agreements with NDA, GT&C, etcCollaborates with sales department, sales administrators, purchasing agent, distribution, quality and other internal and external department employees as needed to support business growthQuotes prices and support credit term management for orders obtainedCommunicates customer date of delivery estimates based on best information available from the company’s production and delivery schedulesInvestigates and negotiates to resolve customer complaints, issues & claimsDevelops & Maintains a high level of product and industry market knowledgeRepresents the company at trade association meetings and events to promote company products and servicesExhibits exemplary safety, conduct & integrity at all times that contributes to the establishment and attainment of a positive, safe, and team-oriented environmentAdditional miscellaneous projects may be assigned as requested by senior managementSkillsBachelor's Degree: B.A. or B.S from a four year college or universityMin 5-8 yrs in composite materials industry preferredERP software experience (Sage, Salesforce, SAP, workday) highly desiredDemonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including timeline management to deliver resultsFacilitate change management efforts by communicating proposed improvements, obtaining buy-in from stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementationExperience supporting compliance & regulatory requirements for risk managementAwareness of AS9100 guidelines and other requirements needed for his roleBackground Prepreg thermoset products preferredStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data to drive business developmentExcellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-makingProficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is requiredAbility to align business development improvement initiatives with the broader strategic goals of the organizationsStrong knowledge of using technical data to understand end user product needsAdvanced Degree: Preferred, such as Business Administration (MBA)Company OverviewMitsubishi Chemical America is a manufacturer of thermoplastic materials in the form of semi-finished products and finished parts.
