The Senior Prisma SD-WAN Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SD-WAN solutions for clients, working closely with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior members.ResponsibilitiesDesigning, implementing and maintaining software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) for clientsWorking closely with cross-functional teams such as the security, sales, and service delivery teams to execute solutions based on client needsProviding expert troubleshooting skills and mentoring junior members of the teamSkillsExperience with software-defined networking and Palo Alto's Prisma SD-WAN (Formerly CloudGenix SD-WAN)Proven expertise in Application Delivery – L7 SLB/Global SLB/Traditional Link LBSkills in Application Performance Monitoring – focusing on response time metrics and application identificationProficiency in packet capture analysis, fault isolation, and remediationIn-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SD-WAN and Remote Access technologiesSolid background in Network Security (IPS/IDS, ZBFW, NGFW)Deep understanding of IP Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)Experience in implementing Legacy WAN solutions (MPLS, Leased Line, Frame Relay, Satellite, Internet VPN, ECMP, DMVPN)Capability in global-scale network designDemonstrable experience in Virtualization (VMware/Microsoft/Citrix/Linux KVM)Demonstrated expertise in IP networking, routing protocols, VPNs, network security technologies, and design best practices.
