REMOTE-Senior Quality Assurance/Tester
IntePros is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Tester to support a large-scale big data initiative within the medical device industry. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of a next-generation data platform supporting billions of records. This is an independent role requiring a hands-on QA professional who can design, execute, and refine testing strategies in a highly regulated space.
Senior Quality Assurance Tester Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for a big data system supporting medical device projects (diabetes focus).
• Perform manual testing with a roadmap toward implementing automated testing strategies.
• Work with AWS Redshift and Databricks to validate massive data sets and pipelines.
• Write and execute advanced SQL queries to support test cases and data validation.
• Document defects, test cases, and results using JIRA, Confluence, and other test documentation platforms.
• Apply modern data lake testing strategies, including contract testing methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Provide clear communication, reporting, and organizational support across stakeholders.
Senior Quality Assurance Tester Qualifications:
• 7-10+ years of Quality Assurance / Software Testing experience (senior-level).
• Strong background with AWS Redshift and Databricks in large-scale data environments.
• Expert SQL skills for validating billions of records and complex datasets.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and test documentation platforms.
• Familiarity with modern data lake testing strategies and contract testing.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• ISO 13485 knowledge is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of QA processes.
