[Remote] Senior QA Engineer (Mobile)

Kake is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of a large-scale consumer mobile application. This role focuses on end-to-end test automation for a React Native app deployed across iOS and Android devices, requiring extensive experience in building mobile automation frameworks and validating complex user journeys.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain automated end-to-end test suites for iOS and Android applicationsDevelop and execute test strategies covering functional, regression, integration, and release testingValidate application behavior across a wide range of devices, OS versions, and screen sizesCollaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to identify quality risks and improve test coverageInvestigate, reproduce, and document defects, working with developers to drive timely resolutionPerform exploratory and manual testing when automation is not the most effective approachContribute to CI/CD testing workflows and improve overall testing efficiency and reliabilityValidate complex user experiences, including real-time interactions, in-app purchases, and embedded web contentSkills5+ years of QA engineering experience, with a strong focus on test automationProven experience building and maintaining mobile end-to-end automation frameworks for production applicationsStrong experience testing React Native mobile applicationsHands-on experience with mobile automation tools such as Detox, Maestro, Appium, or similar frameworksExperience testing across real devices and cloud device platforms such as BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm, or equivalentStrong understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and quality assurance best practicesExperience validating complex user flows across iOS and Android ecosystemsAbility to analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causesExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environmentExperience testing real-time, high-concurrency applicationsExperience validating latency, synchronization, and performance-sensitive user experiencesFamiliarity with HTML5, WebView, or WebGL-based applicationsExperience testing in-app purchases, virtual currencies, rewards systems, or digital commerce featuresUnderstanding of COPPA, privacy regulations, and compliance-sensitive testing requirementsExperience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelinesCompany OverviewLife is Better with Kake!
