[Remote] Senior QA Engineer- India

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nurdsoft is seeking a Senior Test Engineer responsible for ensuring the highest quality of product delivery. This role focuses on building testing strategies and frameworks to enhance coverage and facilitate rapid regression testing, including designing test plans and bug reporting.ResponsibilitiesReview product specifications and technical design documents to create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test casesWorking independently, estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities with different teamsCapable to work in a fast-paced Agile environmentDesign, develop and execute automation scripts using any open source tools such as Cucumber and MochaIdentify and document defects using Jira, Asana or similar toolsPerform regression testing when bugs are resolved and prior to releasesContinuously identify risks and solutions to improve team process and product qualityHelp define standards and best practices for testing and automationThrive in a startup environment who can adopt new technologies with minimal guidance and capable to work independentlyPassionate about solving difficult technical problems and building quality productsSkills5+ years of Software Quality Assurance or relevant experience is requiredExperience with QA techniques including black box, white box approaches for smoke, regression, functional, user acceptance testingFamiliarity or experience working with automationExtensive knowledge in API testing and web testingExcellent troubleshooting skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesThrives in a fast-paced IT environmentMust be a self-starter able to take initiative and collaborate on a distributed teamOutstanding time management and prioritizationKnowledge of Jira, Git, GitHub and other debugging toolsJavaScript experience is preferredCompany OverviewNurdsoft is a software engineering studio specializing in custom software for medium, large and enterprise class businesses.
