The role involves designing and executing test strategies, performing manual and automated testing, and validating AI-generated code while collaborating with engineering and product teams.ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test casesPerform manual testing to identify functional, integration, usability, and edge-case issuesCreate, maintain, and improve automated test suites and testing frameworksTest web applications, APIs, and backend services for functionality, reliability, and performanceValidate AI-generated code and features to ensure they meet quality, maintainability, and business requirementsInvestigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers on solutionsContribute to quality best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across projectsParticipate in requirement reviews and help identify risks early in the development processSkills5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software TestingStrong experience with both manual and automated testing methodologiesExperience testing web applications, APIs, and backend systemsHands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO, or similarFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development workflowsAbility to review application code and understand system behavior when investigating issuesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environmentExperience testing software developed with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPTProgramming experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, or similar languagesExperience with performance, security, accessibility, or load testingExperience contributing to test strategy, QA processes, or quality initiatives at a senior levelCompany OverviewLife is Better with Kake!
