[Remote] Senior QA Engineer

They are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to architect and maintain test automation frameworks, conduct exploratory testing, and collaborate with stakeholders to define test strategies.ResponsibilitiesArchitect, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks from scratchWrite and execute clean, maintainable automated tests for UI, API, and backend servicesConduct manual exploratory testing for complex new features and edge casesPerform root cause analysis on defects to prevent recurrenceCollaborate closely with Stakeholders and the tech team to define acceptance criteria and build comprehensive test strategiesManage QA operational metricsOwn the QA ProcessFoster a 'quality first' culture across cross-functional tech teamsStay up to date on emerging AI/testing tools and drive continuous process improvementsSkillsHands-on experience with modern automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or CypressExperience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipelineStrong capability in backend testing, RESTful API validation, and database querying (SQL)Advanced knowledge of issue tracking and agile planning tools with JIRAExcellent English and communication skills (daily interaction in English involved)Previous experience in financial services is highly desirablePassion for learning, sharing, and working with other people6 hours overlap with CET - while hours are flexible, you should generally be available most of the time, daily between 10-18, Central European timeSelf-motivated and disciplined to work full-time remotelyFamiliarity with tools like Splunk to debug product pipeline and environment issuesPHP, Python, and JavaScript are desirablePractical knowledge of Docker to containerize test suites, build reproducible test environments, and manage dependenciesBenefits100% remote23 paid vacation daysOne extra day to celebrate your birthdayAnnual company retreatTeam training and tools budgetSolid company of 20 years of success in the exciting side of the Payments IndustryCompany OverviewWE ARE RESILIENT CO.
