[Remote] Senior QA Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Claritas Rx is a venture-backed digital health startup focused on specialty biopharmaceutical products. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will establish and implement the Quality Assurance strategy, develop test plans, and ensure the quality of data and software solutions for healthcare applications.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop Quality Assurance strategy for Claritas Rx
ā¢ Develop test plans, test data and test cases for new features, end-to-end system tests and regression tests
ā¢ Execute all tests
ā¢ Automate unit tests, on path to CI/CD
ā¢ Test for production quality, both pre & post deployment
ā¢ Work with development, product and customer teams to research existing data issues and suggest solutions
ā¢ Verify the quality of data, ensure incoming data matches existing data specifications, verify functionality and data output against requirements, using complex SQL scripts as needed
ā¢ QA review queries created by developers for adherence to standards and performance issues
ā¢ Report on testing status, milestones and issues to project stakeholders
ā¢ Support off-hours launch and monitoring of systems with teams as needed
Skills
ā¢ Experience in setting up and maintaining QA Environment and Test Data Management
ā¢ Experience in system testing, regression testing, functional testing, black box testing and white box testing
ā¢ Experience with automated end-to-end testing tools/frameworks
ā¢ Good SQL experience querying and extracting data from databases
ā¢ Basic programming skills in Python
ā¢ Data concepts (ETL, data structures, metadata and workflow management)
ā¢ Solving complex data and technology problems
ā¢ Experience working with data integration tools like Talend
ā¢ Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS
ā¢ Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment
ā¢ Excellent communication skills
ā¢ B.S. in computer science, engineering or related degree
