They are seeking a Senior Python & Agentic AI Engineer who will design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows using Python, while owning the technical direction for AI/ML components and collaborating with various stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and deploy AI‑powered and agentic workflows using Python within modern cloud‑native environmentsOwn technical direction for AI/ML components, including architecture, orchestration, model integration, and performance optimizationPartner with product, engineering, and client stakeholders to shape the roadmap for AI‑driven and autonomous system capabilitiesEvaluate and integrate LLMs, agent frameworks, vector search, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, and tool‑use orchestration into production systemsLead by example through high‑quality code, strong engineering practices, and thoughtful technical decision‑makingDrive experimentation, prototyping, and rapid iteration to validate AI‑powered product ideasEnsure AI systems are reliable, observable, secure, and maintainable in production environmentsMentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and innovationSkillsStrong Python engineering background with experience building production‑grade systemsDemonstrated experience shipping AI/ML or LLM‑powered features in production, not just experimentationHands‑on experience with agentic AI frameworks, LLM APIs, vector databases, retrieval pipelines, or ML workflowsAbility to influence architecture, product direction, and long‑term technical strategyStrong problem‑solving skills and comfort operating in high‑autonomy environmentsExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teamsExperience working in fast‑paced, client‑facing, or consulting‑style environments is a plusExperience with Azure AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or other enterprise AI platformsBackground in ML Ops, model evaluation, or production monitoring of AI systemsExperience with distributed systems, event‑driven architectures, or cloud‑native designPrior work on financial, payments, or risk‑related systemsCompany OverviewImagineX is a digital services firm at the intersection of software engineering, data and AI.
