[Remote] Senior Property Risk Engineering Consultant

They are seeking a Property Field Risk Engineering Consultant to provide field risk engineering services, develop customer service strategies, and support underwriting teams primarily for larger property accounts.ResponsibilitiesProvide field risk engineering to meet underwriting requirementsDevelop and implementing customer service strategies that reduce loss and improve customer operationsProvide engineering support to underwriting team by attending client broker meetingsPerform field engineering services where necessary, primarily for larger locations on accounts and/or prospects within the regionDeliver advanced property consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential, investigation of cause/effect of major losses and property management programsAssist in marketing Zurich risk transfer insurance products in conjunction with underwriting professionals and agents across company business segmentsSkillsBachelors Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Property Risk Engineering area ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Property Risk Engineering area ORZurich Certified Apprentice, including an Associates degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Property Risk Engineering area ANDExperience working in a team environmentRelevant experience in the assessment of risk, based on what is required by Property specific competency standardsBachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Property Risk Engineering area ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Property Risk Engineering area ANDExperience with Microsoft OfficeExperience working in a team environmentBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or related degreeHPR Property experienceProperty Loss control/Risk Engineering experience within the insurance industryCertified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)Strong communication and consultative skillsOutstanding collaborative skillsHistory of working successfully in a team environmentHigh degree of proficiency related to PC and MS-Office SoftwareBenefitsYou may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases.Short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.Short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for employees and their families.This is a work from home roleExpected travel at 30%.Company OverviewZurich American Insurance is an international commercial property-casualty insurance provider.
