The role involves leading a team, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a teamFoster customer relationshipsFacilitate project planning, delivery and executionDrive projects through the entire Aldridge Project LifecycleSAFETY – Drive the IIF safety cultureRegularly visit your job sites and lead by exampleEnsure a safety plan is developed and adhered toMENTORING AND COACHING – Lead and develop your teamDirect the activities of Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers, train them in their roles and responsibilities and hold them accountableBe a resource to help new recruits learn and understand Aldridge business processesInfluence support staff and cross-divisional resourcesDevelop a successor and a succession plan for continued growth opportunity and back tierCUSTOMER FOCUS – Foster customer relationshipsBuild a strong partnership with the General Contractor and owner(s)Own a customer account; build a long-term relationship with the prospect of future workFoster a close working relationship with field leadership and engage them in Agile and other company processesPROJECT PLANNING – Facilitate project planningIdentify and document the roles and responsibilities of the management team on each projectEnsure there is a plan to meet all contractual requirementsMonitor PM functions and ensure that pre-job planning tasks are being completed prior to work startingShare your experience and lessons learned from similar projects with the project team. Ensure there is a plan to mitigate any concernsDevelop and execute a strong financial plan for your projects (accurate project financials, status presentation, positive cash flow, cash collections)PROJECT EXECUTION – Drive a project through the entire Aldridge Project LifecycleDeliver project-level solutions and deliver the contractEnsure that the company processes and tools are being utilized. Monitor Agile reporting and enact change when neededEnsure billings are up to date and rectify any underbilling or collection issuesEnsure that monthly project status reports are accurateSign-off on or create all change order requests to the CustomerElevate critical job issues to the Division Manager or Vice PresidentSkillsBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Management or other construction-related major.
