[Remote] Senior Project Manager (IT/Security) (Remote)

DSN Software is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Information Security team in planning, executing, and delivering IT security initiatives. This hands-on role requires a technical project manager with cybersecurity experience who will actively manage projects, driving execution and ensuring successful delivery of complex initiatives.ResponsibilitiesActively lead and manage projects end-to-end, ensuring timely and successful deliveryTrack project status, monitor progress, and provide clear updates to stakeholdersIdentify, escalate, and resolve issues proactivelyDevelop a strong understanding of project scope, timelines, and dependenciesServe as a key partner to stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor (“project manager whisperer”)Be an integral part of the team, contributing to both planning and executionForecast potential risks/issues and communicate them effectively with mitigation strategiesDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelinesCreate, assign, and manage tasks across project teamsCoordinate with cross-functional teams, leadership, and stakeholdersEnsure adherence to EPMO standards, project charters, and required documentation. Coach teams on project management processes and best practicesFacilitate status meetings, reporting, and stakeholder communicationDrive audit remediation efforts, including identifying issues, defining tasks, and ensuring resolutionSupport and manage change management initiativesOversee technical deployments, ensuring smooth executionCollaborate closely with security teams to align priorities and executionSkills8 years of experience in Project Management, including 5 years leading IT security initiativesProven experience as a hands-on Technical Project Manager in a cybersecurity environmentExperience working within an EPMO or PMO environment, with adherence to project governance standards, charter development, and required documentationStrong ability to manage, not just coordinate, complex projectsExperience with Microsoft Project for planning and trackingExperience with ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) moduleProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)Strong understanding of audit remediation, risk management, and complianceExperience managing change management and technical deploymentsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to understand technical concepts and translate them into actionable plansIf unable to find, then exposure to the SPM module is fineCompany OverviewDSN Software is a practice management software for dental and dental specialty practices.
