[Remote] Senior Project Manager Hydro + Retrofit

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Project Manager responsible for the delivery of major projects related to Services ACIS activities, including Retrofit/Uprates and long-term services contracts. The role involves managing project-related activities, resources, and customer relations while ensuring project efficiency and effectiveness.ResponsibilitiesPerform customer order review and compare with the GE quote upon transfer of the project file from the Commercial group to Project managementLead the project kick-off meeting with all internal contributors and assign roles and responsibilitiesLead the customer kick-off meeting to communicate the nature of the work that will be done and clarify any issues in the orderCoordinate all activities related to the projectFollow project spend vs budget (cost, materials, labor)Lead and draft project follow-up meeting summaries (internal and external)Follow-up on the project derogationsPerform invoicing according to the contract termsFollow-up with GE procurement department on supplier deliveriesCommunicate and inform the customer of project progress on a regular basisProduce the project Post-Mortem analysis reportPerform the administrative closing of the projectManagement of long-term service projectsCloseout of project deficiencies and Punchlist itemsManagement of warranty and all after sales servicesResponsible for overseeing the project and direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resourcesHas in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketUses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutionsUses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
