[Remote] Senior Project Manager, Computational Biology & AI/ML (Contract-6 Months-Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Altos Labs is on a mission to restore cell health and resilience through cell rejuvenation. As a Project Manager, you will support the planning, execution, and delivery of multidisciplinary projects, ensuring cross-functional coordination and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Assist in the planning and execution of 4-6 assigned projects, translating objectives into clear timelines, deliverables, and milestones
ā¢ Collaborate across teams, including scientific, computational, and business units, to facilitate effective communication and coordination
ā¢ Monitor project progress, identify potential obstacles, and work with teams to resolve issues
ā¢ Communicate project updates, status, and results to stakeholders clearly and effectively
ā¢ Support budget tracking and resource planning for assigned projects
ā¢ Leverage project management tools to streamline task management and collaboration
ā¢ Contribute to the development and implementation of workflows to improve operational efficiency within projects
Skills
ā¢ Education: BS or MS in life sciences, computational biology, business, or a related field
ā¢ Experience: 5-6 years of experience in project management within biotechnology, computational biology, AI/ML, pharmaceuticals, or a related scientific field
ā¢ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently
ā¢ Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and facilitating collaboration
ā¢ Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Google Suite or similar)
ā¢ Strong communication skills to present technical information clearly and effectively
ā¢ Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities to address project challenges
ā¢ Results-driven and detail-oriented with a proactive approach
ā¢ Self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and manage tasks with minimal supervision
ā¢ Growth-oriented and eager to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
ā¢ Collaborative and enjoys working as part of a high-impact team
