They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from development through construction, ensuring project performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesServe as the Owner’s Representative for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract management for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects in the U.SParticipate in EPC contractor selection and contract negotiations in collaboration with the Contract ManagerOwn overall project performance, including cost, schedule, safety, and quality, and develop and execute the Project Execution Plan for assigned projectsReview and manage EPC contractor schedules, budgets, scopes of work, subcontractors, site logistics plans, and permitting compliance in coordination with the project teamOversee utility interconnection activities and manage related construction documentation, testing, and commissioning requirementsLead construction risk management efforts and capture lessons learned throughout project executionManage relationships with project stakeholders, representing the company with landowners, local authorities, customers, contractors, suppliers, and other partners as requiredSupport permitting and jurisdictional approval processes related to construction activitiesCoordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and delivery of milestones within budget and scheduleCollaborate closely with internal engineering, procurement, legal, finance, and accounting teams, as well as external stakeholders and regulatory bodiesEnsure project quality and safety standards are met through regular on-site inspections as requiredLead project status meetings with off-takers, utilities, EPC partners, and financing stakeholders, supported by detailed project plans and reportingMaintain organized and complete project documentation for internal use, third-party stakeholders, and project financing requirementsPrepare and deliver weekly and monthly project status reportsLead the transition of projects from Construction to OperationsContribute to the development of internal policies, standards, and proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience managing utility-scale solar projectsStrong understanding of renewable energy construction methods, design principles, and technical standardsWorking knowledge of ProcoreProficiency in Microsoft Excel, CPM scheduling, and project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsProven ability to lead and manage stakeholders effectivelyStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situationsExceptional organizational skills, including the ability to produce clear project plans and executive-level reports that support timely decision-makingProficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and ProcoreWillingness to travel up to 50% to project sitesHighly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environmentsStrong technical aptitude and problem-solving skillsPMP certification preferredCompany OverviewHarnessing market intelligence.
