[Remote] Senior Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sapiens is seeking a Sr. Project Manager (SNAP) to join their North America Team. The role involves leading end-to-end delivery of enterprise software projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards while maintaining strong client satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesManage all facets of software development projects to ensure schedule, budget/profitability and quality goals are metAchieve client satisfaction, by managing and meeting or exceeding expectationsEnsure project meets all contractual obligationsDevelop project plans, schedules, and objectivesProactively communicate project status and plans to client, project team and Sapiens ManagementObtain written acceptance for all deliverablesCreate and maintain successful alliances with key stakeholders, both internal and externalAssess and track risks, develop risk mitigation plansManage budgetary items associated with project expenses, capital purchases and contract resourcesDevelop or provide key input into business cases for proposed projectsEnsure project is executed using best practices and Sapiens’ methodologiesDevelop and coordinate project controls and associated metrics to measure successBuild and maintain positive team moraleEnsure team conduct themselves and carry out their work in a professional mannerProvide project team feedback to their managers for semiannual and annual performance reviewsSkillsMinimum seven plus years experience in managing software development projectsMinimum of five plus years external project management experienced requiredMinimum five years' experience with software development methodologies and of the overall iterative software development lifecycleBroad understanding of insurance industryStrong proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS ProjectStrong written, verbal, presentation, and analytical skillsGood problem-solving, issue resolution, negotiation, and diplomacy skillsTravel to client sites will be required and will vary with project assignment.
