[Remote] Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will lead a multi-phase program focused on strengthening enterprise security and cybersecurity initiatives, overseeing strategic projects and coordinating technical and business teams.ResponsibilitiesLead a large-scale, three-year IAM program consisting of multiple project phasesManage multiple cybersecurity and security-related initiatives simultaneouslyDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource plansEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budgetMonitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and dependenciesCoordinate projects related to: Identity & Access Management (IAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Access security and governance, Compliance and data protection initiativesSupport cybersecurity projects focused on improving and securing the enterprise environmentPartner with infrastructure, security, and data warehouse teams to ensure alignment and successful implementationAct as liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadershipFacilitate discussions to gather requirements and clarify business needsAsk probing questions to uncover risks, gaps, and dependenciesDocument technical and business information clearly for project teams and stakeholdersPrepare and present project updates, steering committee materials, and executive reportsIdentify and escalate project risks, issues, and blockersEnsure alignment with security and compliance standards including: PCI, PII/Data Privacy requirements, Internal security policies and governance standardsMaintain project governance and documentation standardsCoordinate cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, and business unitsDefine project roles and responsibilitiesMotivate and guide project team members toward successful outcomesSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field8–15 years of project management experienceProven experience managing enterprise-level or large-scale initiativesExperience working with cross-functional technical and business teamsStrong senior-level project management capabilitiesExcellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skillsAbility to translate technical discussions into clear business communicationStrong organizational and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlinesStrong risk management and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable working with technical teams without needing deep technical expertiseAbility to influence stakeholders and drive accountabilityExperience leading cybersecurity or security-related projectsFamiliarity with IAM, MFA, DLP, compliance, and access security conceptsPMP (Project Management Professional)CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or other project management certificationsSecurity-related certificationsCompany OverviewHorace Mann provides auto insurance, life insurance, and financial services.
