[Remote] Senior Project Manager

The role involves managing project scope, resources, budgets, and schedules while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and mentoring other project managers.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for identifying, planning and managing scope, resources, schedule, budget and risk required to meet goals of large complex projectsLead the development of cost-benefit analysis, return on investment forecasts, project proposals, project charters, risk analysis, project schedules, and ensure actual results are tracked for large complex projectsPerforms appropriate scope analysis and lessons learnedDevelops and manages project schedulesIdentifies and establishes stakeholders and appropriate project governanceIdentifies appropriate project team resources and ensures appropriate staff are securedDevelops and manages project budgetsClearly communicates roles and expectations to project teamsEscalate issues to stakeholders and project teams and recommend solutionsCreates and delivers information at appropriate level for audience, including presentations and status updatesRecognizes risk triggers and clearly communicates situation to project teams, sponsors, and stakeholdersRegularly mentors and acts as a resource to other Project ManagersSkillsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience4+ years leading all aspects of large complex projects4+ years of experience with standard project management methodology, tools, and/or software packagesDemonstrated ability as a core decision-maker showing balanced consideration of business issuesAbility to drive results through informal authority, serve as a consultant to key business partners, and represent users and customers in every thought and interactionAbility to elicit cooperation from Senior Management and other departmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and analytical skillsProven ability to effectively understand and communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all levels of the organizationAbility to identify, develop, and gather necessary resources to complete a projectRegularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job dutiesBenefitsAs a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses and commissions.For more information regarding VSP Vision benefits, please [click here](http://www.vspvision.com/careers/rewards-and-benefits.html).Company OverviewAt VSP Vision, we activate the full power of care by consciously reinvesting in greater vision, health, and opportunities for all.
