The Senior Project Manager will lead project initiatives within the Cost Transformation team, focusing on improving business results and supporting strategic activities across the organization.ResponsibilitiesThe position is expected to influence and drive results across all Products and Healthcare Services Cost Transformation initiatives. The primary purpose of this role is to lead projects, support procurement/sourcing initiatives, and provide strategic direction to position the department for long term successCoordination will be required with Operations, Manufacturing sites, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, IT, Finance and Product Management teams to facilitate timely communication and successful project executionTechnical and process leadership will be required to support project execution, process optimization, and systems maintenanceThe incumbent will provide project leadership for the implementation of the organization’s cost transformation strategyThis will involve leading various projects and initiatives to improve the business results of each product category and acting as the key liaison among Product Management, Procurement, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, IT, Finance and Manufacturing teamsThe incumbent provides technical direction on a wide array of operations, business processes, and systemsProvide leadership and coordination of activities among the business teams, cross functional groups, and manufacturing teams to ensure financial objectives are metLead trials, commercialization projects and cost reduction activities to ensure results are delivered within prescribed timelines and meet agreed upon scope commitmentsLead large scope projects including product launches, continuous improvement initiatives, cost savings projects, or manufacturing sourcing changesLead projects related to supply continuity, qualification of new raw material, new raw material suppliers, or finished good suppliersLead projects related to regulatory, quality, compliance requirements involving new codes and/or packaging updatesLead line extension projects Participate in development of strategic manufacturing and supply chain plansExpertise in SAP, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio supporting toolsProvide technical and business process leadership to support project execution, process optimization, and systems maintenanceManage the data integrity and maintenance of required systems to ensure efficient project executionContinually improve existing business processes to enhance project execution success, speed-to-market initiatives, quality, and customer-service objectives are metSupport manufacturing units to meet objectives in safety, cost, quality, productivity, customer service, and corporate ethicsSupport and drive LEAN and cost reduction projects with the line operations, plant teams while utilizing 4-Step problem solving, Kaizen and other continuous improvement toolsManage capital projects, in accordance with CFI’s, to ensure maintenance of assets, provide required capacity, and ensure ROIC objectives are achievedEnsure actions are consistent with regulatory standards and corporate policyContribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results while embracing the culture of accountabilityThe position requires strategic thinking, and change management capabilities, as well as a vision for developing and executing transformational projects for the organizationDemonstrate and be role model for IDEAL behaviors (Integrity, Development, Excellence, Accountability, Listening)SkillsBachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (or equivalent experience and training)10+ years of experience in technical and operational assignments with FDA regulated products and manufacturing facilitiesMust have a broad appreciation and understanding of implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, project management, and change management within medical device industryMust have project leadership experience (scoping to post-launch activities) leading cross functional teamsMust have experience with ERP systems and/or supply chain processesMust be able to effectively communicate, influence and manage change to be successfulMust be organized and able to work independentlyAbility to work in complex Global organization and at multiple levels to influence stakeholdersInternational travel is requiredProficient in English (written and verbal)PMP certification strongly preferredSAP ERP proficiencyLean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt CertificationMulti-lingual skills in Spanish or ChineseMicrosoft Access, Power BI proficiencyKnowledge across the whole process of developing products from the concept phase through development, production and launch;
