[Remote] Senior Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Eagle Creek Renewable Energy owns and operates 85 hydroelectric facilities throughout the United States and is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Project Management Team. The role involves the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of civil, mechanical, electrical, and controls projects across hydroelectric plants.ResponsibilitiesWork to ensure that all assigned projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetMake day-to-day decisions during project execution and manage project risksCoordinate internal resources as well as vendors for the successful execution of projectsDevelop and updates cost estimates and budgets, schedules, identify issues and risks, develop work breakdown structure, etc. for assigned workProvide status reports to management as requested on assigned projectsSupport the development of Project Management Training (across teams)Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to track and monitor project progressSupport the development of tools/templates for cost estimating and budgeting, scheduling, work breakdown structure, etc. as requestedEnsure project documentation is well managed, organized, and stored during the entire project life cycleAttend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiencyPerform other related duties as assignedSkills5+ years of experienceBachelor's degree in engineering or a related field8+ years of experience managing projects in the construction or energy industry preferredDemonstrated ability to successfully execute projectsA broad range of experience executing civil, mechanical, electrical, and controls projectsThe ability to travel as needed for project implementation and execution (~30%)Strong skills in relationship management and ability to work collaboratively with others to successfully deliver projectsAbility to open minded, nimble, and flexible to manage project risksExcellent written and oral communication skillsSelf-starter, motivated and innate drive to succeedKnowledge of electrical safety principles and best practicesAbility to perform operational tasksThe ability to climb ladders and to be at heightsThe ability and dexterity to manipulate various size components from valves to small electrical switches to computer keyboardsThe ability to 'handle' quick changing situations under stressThe ability to work on or near waterPreference will be given to candidates with power generation or civil experienceExperience managing civil projects in the hydroelectric or renewable energy industry highly preferred but not requiredBenefitsA comprehensive benefits plan: Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, Commuter benefits, Voluntary Life, 401(k) Match.Eleven paid holidays per year, plus a competitive PTO schedule and time off to volunteer or give back to your community.Access to a company-funded Employee Assistance Program.Employee discounts through ADP LifeMart.Tuition Reimbursement as well as access to trainings & mentors for Career Progression and Personal Development.Company OverviewEagle Creek Renewable Energy was founded in 2010 to acquire, enhance and operate small hydroelectric power facilities.
