[Remote] Senior Project Consultant, Technical Analysis & Grant Development

The Senior Project Consultant will lead complex project scopes, maintain client relationships, and ensure high-quality project delivery while mentoring junior staff and managing multiple workstreams.ResponsibilitiesLead multiple or complex project scopes, ensuring delivery excellence, accuracy, and timeliness across all assigned projectsServe as a primary client contact, managing expectations, fostering relationships, and ensuring satisfaction and alignmentProvide direction and oversight for Project Analysts, Associate Project Consultants, and Project Consultants to ensure consistency and quality in project executionDevelop and deliver sophisticated written deliverables, such as proposals, reports, and strategic recommendationsOversee planning and execution of project meetings, workshops, and presentations with internal and external stakeholdersAnticipate and address client needs proactively, serving as a problem-solver and thought partnerSupport the design and development of scopes, budgets, and proposals for new or expanding engagementsCollaborate closely with the Project Leadership Team and Business Operations to ensure alignment of project budgets, staffing, and performance metricsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and quality standardsContribute to internal learning and development initiatives to strengthen Momentum’s delivery capacityPerform other related duties as assignedSkillsDemonstrated ability to manage complex projects and client relationships with minimal supervisionStrong consulting, analytical, and written communication skills with the ability to produce polished, client-ready materialsProven leadership capabilities in coordinating teams, delegating work, and ensuring quality outcomesStrategic thinker capable of connecting project-level work to broader organizational or market objectivesAbility to mentor and develop junior staff, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharingHigh degree of initiative, organization, and accountability, with a consistent focus on efficiency and resultsSkilled in managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing project demandsProficiency in Microsoft Office, project management systems, and CRM or workflow toolsCommitment to Momentum's mission and an understanding of the clean technology and sustainability sectors6–8 years of relevant experience in consulting, project management, or public-sector program executionProven success in writing and translating complex scientific concepts, like emissions data and engineering schematics, into clear, compelling narratives and professional documentsDemonstrated success leading complex projects and maintaining long-term client relationshipsExperience mentoring or guiding team members preferredBenefitsCompetitive base salary.Annual target bonuses.100% employer paid health premium options available for all full-time staff.Simple IRA with matching contributions.Paid-time-off (PTO) of 120 hours/year.Paid sick leave of 56 hours per year.12 company holidays.Employer paid life insurance policy.$50 Cell phone stipend.$2,000 annual professional development stipend.Company OverviewMomentum partners with visionaries, innovators and forward-looking organizations working to turn great ideas into transformational products that drive economic prosperity and enable thriving, vibrant and healthy communities.
