The Senior Product Manager for Universal KYC will own the vision and roadmap for the initiative, focusing on creating a seamless identity verification experience across the MetaMask product stack while ensuring compliance and user trust.ResponsibilitiesYou will own the vision and roadmap for Universal KYC and MetaMask Passport, defining how a reusable identity layer unlocks the broader MetaMask product stackYou will build the underlying identity platform, creating scalable verification primitives and standards that can be adopted across productsIn parallel, you will design a seamless, low-friction KYC experience that reduces time-to-first-transaction while maintaining compliance integrityYou will drive adoption across MetaMask by partnering closely with internal teams to integrate a consistent identity layer, while balancing privacy, trust, and global regulatory requirementsThroughout, you will lead execution end-to-end, aligning cross-functional teams and delivering measurable outcomesSkillsProven experience building or scaling identity verification (IDV), KYC, or onboarding productsStrong background in fintech, ideally with exposure to Web3Hands-on experience working with identity verification providers (IDV vendors) such as Sumsub, Veriff, Onfido, Persona, or Stripe IdentityFamiliarity with compliance workflows, including KYC, KYB, and customer due diligence (CDD) processesTrack record of delivering platform products adopted across multiple teamsAbility to operate across both technical systems and user experienceFirst-principles thinker with strong product judgmentDeep user empathy with a focus on reducing friction and cognitive loadStrong understanding of trust, privacy, and compliance trade-offsClear, structured communicator who drives alignment and momentumHigh ownership and ability to operate in ambiguityCompany OverviewConsenSys builds Ethereum blockchain infrastructure and applications ranging from developer tools to enterprise solutions.
