[Remote] Senior Product Manager, Middle Revenue Cycle Automation & AI - Remote

The Senior Product Manager - Middle Revenue Cycle Automation & AI is responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of AI enabled and automation capabilities supporting the middle revenue cycle. This role involves collaborating with various teams to deliver high impact automation that reduces manual effort and improves operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesDefines product vision and roadmap for AI and automation across middle revenue cycle workflows (coding, CDI, charge capture, utilization review); prioritizes high-impact use cases based on customer pain points, operational efficiency, and financial outcomes; refines strategy using market trends, customer feedback, and performance dataOwns end-to-end product delivery, including requirements, user stories, and OKRs (automation, accuracy, throughput, financial impact); partners with data science on model design, testing, deployment, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop decisionsDrives adoption, automation lift, and operational impact; uses analytics and stakeholder insights to measure performance, communicate value, and inform continuous improvementCollaborates across engineering, data science, design, architecture, RCM operations, compliance, and customer success; communicates product vision and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiencesSkills8+ years of experience in healthcare technology, healthcare services, or enterprise software5+ years of experience in product management with AI enabled or automation driven productsHands on experience supporting coding, CDI, (middle revenue space) or revenue cycle workflows within US healthcareExperience working closely with engineering and data science teams in agile development environmentsExperience partnering with Operations teams to understand operational workflows and identify product development opportunitiesProven experience leveraging AI-driven automation to identify and drive cost saving initiativesProven experience delivering workflow embedded automation or decision support productsAll employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter PolicyBenefitsA comprehensive benefits packageIncentive and recognition programsEquity stock purchase401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements)Company OverviewWeâre evolving health care so everyone can have the opportunity to live their healthiest life.
