The role involves strategic product decision-making, developing product roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with customer demands and market trends.ResponsibilitiesManage the product development life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activitiesStay on top of current trends and competitive threats impacting the product line; develop long term plans to ensure product successSet product strategy, develop roadmap, and create features by defining the why, when, and what of the product lineTranslate product strategy into high level requirements and prototypesCreate business case to include overall budget for development efforts and monitor to remain within budget requirementsOwn the creative and analysis process of generating, developing, and curating new ideasDrive the effort to determine which ideas should be promoted into features to push the product strategy forward, namely those that will achieve key objectives for the product line and business including financial and positioning objectivesClearly define what the teams will deliver and the timeline for implementation based on the product roadmapCreate feature descriptions, provide guidance to Product Owners, and approve the product-related requirements/user stories using Agile methodologyAssist the Product Owner in managing the Agile team’s User Stories and release milestonesContribute to setting prices on products in the product line to meet revenue and profitability goals and track return on investment to ensure successClearly articulate the product’s business value to the cross-functional team so they understand the intent behind the new product or new feature(s) in a releaseUpdate key stakeholders on product releases and coordinate training as neededEvaluate sales campaigns to ensure that they are consistent with product strategy and that the message is effectively conveyedActively participate in the development and execution of go-to-market plansAnalyze potential partner relationships for the productDefine and monitor KPIs in order to measure the impact and success of the productDevelop, improve, and implement product and process improvements to deliver amazing customer experiencesAvailable for up to 50% travelServe as a mentor to less experienced Product Managers and Product OwnersSkillsBachelor's degree in Business or related fieldSix years of software development experience as a Product Manager and/or eight years of Product Owner/Senior Product Owner experienceDemonstrated success defining and launching productsHealthcare industry knowledge, ideally healthcare supply chainSolid track record of achieving and exceeding goals in a fast-paced environmentExperience working in agile software development settingHave a constant focus on solving user problems in the best way possibleConceptual product thinker that can connect strategy with executionUnderstand and execute on the steps required to successfully launch a software release or applicationAbility to influence cross-functional team without formal authorityExcellent time management, resource organization and priority establishment skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with diplomacy and tact while managing a large group of stakeholders, including when responding to resistanceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to describe complex information in a concise but thorough fashionDesire to keep up with product management best practicesAbility to make analytical, data-driven decisions and effectively communicate the resultsAbility to write effective business plans, marketing plans, and product plansAbility to plan and execute quick deployment of new and innovative products and servicesFamiliarity with the use of AI and agents, including how they can be leveraged to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, improve user experiences, and support operational efficiency across a variety of tasks and toolsMaster's degree in Business or related fieldAha!
