The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for translating operational and customer requirements into product specifications, working with engineering teams to deliver new capabilities, and engaging with stakeholders to enhance asset performance and operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesTranslating operational and customer requirements into clear product requirements and user storiesWorking with engineering and technical teams to define and deliver new capabilitiesSupporting roadmap development and product prioritizationEngaging with customers and internal stakeholders to understand workflows, challenges, and opportunitiesHelping shape products focused on asset performance, maintenance, operational efficiency, and analyticsSkillsExperience as a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or a similar product-focused roleExperience working within SaaS, analytics, IoT, or technology-enabled platformsStrong product management fundamentals across roadmap development, prioritization, requirements gathering, and cross-functional deliveryExperience translating operational, technical, or customer requirements into product capabilitiesAbility to work effectively across engineering, operations, customer-facing teams, and senior stakeholders10 years+ of hands-on experience in HVAC/R system design, installation, or service, commercial facility management and maintenance operations or building automation systems (BAS/EMS)Deep understanding of how multi-site facility management teams, in-house technicians, and third-party service contractors operate, including dispatch workflows, work order management, preventive maintenance programs, and capital planning cyclesDemonstrated experience collecting user needs, developing product requirements, user stories, or technical specifications that were successfully built and shippedStrong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, and/or lighting controlsFamiliarity with FDD, condition-based maintenance, and asset health scoring methodologiesUnderstanding of building automation protocols and how telemetry data flows from field devices to analytics platformsExposure to CMMS/FSM platforms and how they integrate into broader facility operationsExceptional ability to translate technical domain knowledge into clear, structured product requirementsBenefitsBonusCompany OverviewElement Six is a specialist search partner for Energy & Infrastructure.
