[Remote] Senior Product Manager

The successful candidate will own the buyer-facing search experience end-to-end, leading a squad responsible for optimizing how buyers search and browse results across various platforms and global marketplaces.ResponsibilitiesOwn the product strategy and roadmap for the buyer search experience, translating customer insights, market research, and business data into clear priorities and detailed product specsPartner closely with ML, data science, engineering, design, analytics, and user research to deliver technically complex, high-impact featuresDrive roadmap prioritization through data-driven opportunity analysis; build MVPs, iterate fast, and champion execution excellenceDesign and run A/B experiments that test mechanisms — not just features — and use results to inform decisions and define OKRsCommunicate roadmap, success metrics, and tradeoffs across a large set of stakeholder teams, building strong relationships with partner Product ManagersLeverage and champion next-gen AI/ML capabilities to deliver outsized outcomes and incorporate AI tools into day-to-day workflowsSkillsStrong Product Management experience, with hands-on work in search, personalization, or recommendations — and a strong understanding of the interplay between search intent, results presentation, and information displayComfort partnering with ML and engineering teams on technically complex products; you understand model capabilities and limitations without needing to build them yourselfProven ability to design experiments that test mechanisms, use data to drive decisions, and apply structured prioritization frameworks for tradeoff callsClear, structured communication skills and experience writing detailed, consistent product specsExperience in e-commerce, marketplace, or two-sided platform productsFamiliarity with agile ceremonies and cross-functional squad dynamicsTrack record of working with global products across multiple categories or regionsCompany OverviewAvenue Code is an IT consulting firm that specializes on Agile ecommerce software development.
