The role involves system setup, product maintenance, compliance review, and collaboration across various teams to design and launch travel protection products.ResponsibilitiesAccurate and timely set up of new products using underwriter and account guidelinesCreate, revise, and review plan documents and other related policy formsUse structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root cause and effective corrective counter measuresSupport complete product and document lifecycle from set-up, through testing, and to deliveryWork with the QA and Development team on product testing, bug reporting, and change requestsFollow written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activitiesVertical lead champion who represents the department and can accurately communicate projects and updates to the broader group and business leadsProduct compliance review of marketing and websitesUnderstand and maintain knowledge of current state laws and regulatory environments for assigned statesFormulate responses to member inquiries elevated by Customer Service and Claims teamsContinuously updates product and job knowledgePerform other duties as assigned by ManagerSkillsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related experience3+ years of relevant experience with state filingsExperience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other applications in the Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to present data and conclusions in an organized mannerStrong organizational and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detailDesire to perform the role as a team lead and business unit leaderStrong research and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and cooperatively to reach departmental and business goals and objectivesExcellent written and oral communication skills to communicate clearly and concisely by telephone, email, and via written specificationsDesire and ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts, as well as processesEasily adaptable to changes in business processes, work priorities, and work environmentExperience with policy form development and editingUnderstanding of product related compliance, regulatory, and risk requirementsKnowledge of SalesforceBenefitsCompetitive compensation packageGenerous 401K employer matchEmployee Stock Purchase plan with employer matchingGenerous Paid Time OffExcellent benefits that go beyond health, dental & vision.
